iPad 4th Gen Digitizer Glass Replacement
This iPad had some significant damage; not only to the glass, but also the corners. It took some tooling with pliers and a Dremel to get it back to shape, but wasn't too difficult to mend. This gallery covers the entire process except for the frame cleanup. I use Goo Gone and alcohol wipes to cleanup the old adhesive. It works pretty well, but it is time consuming to remove all of the old adhesive. iPad repairs are billed as two hours of labor ($100) and parts. Typical digitizer replacement is around $150.
